Thank you to everyone that donated to the Stepping Stones walk! We had a fun day today with many friends that walked with us. While the weather was cold and blustery - our hearts were filled by the warmth of your generous donations and thoughts!
I was really excited to be doing such an easy thing to support such an amazing program. It hit me shortly after we walked into the gym where they were doing auctions and handing out the awards for the 5k run. There was a definite reason and purpose for us being there. I am very appreciative and fortunate that we are blessed with such a wonderful program in our area, though I wish that we never would've needed their services in the first place. Walking today was a great way to honor Leah's memory as well as our friend's little "Superman" who continues to fight his cancer and is currently cancer free!!
