Surprise!

So we still haven't let the cat out of the bag about my pregnancy to anyone other than those that see me on a daily basis (my co-workers, Bryce's teachers, a few of Jason's colleagues, & our closest friends) and my sister (who knows all of my secrets!). No one knows yet about any of the diagnoses that we've received. We were going to Skype with our families on Thanksgiving to show off Bryce's adorable turkey "Big Brother" t-shirt that we had made for our big announcement. But we decided to put it off until Christmas. Christmas was when we first told our families we were pregnant with Bryce, so why not again with this baby?

One problem... my brother and sister were coming to have Thanksgiving with us and there was no hiding my belly! We had Bryce wear his "Big Brother t-shirt to the airport" to pick them up.. and it was interesting to watch my brother's face as he tried to take in my belly and tried to figure out what Bryce's t-shirt said. Suprise! He was very excited for us, especially to know that this baby was a girl, so that we'd have "one of each." I think he was shocked at first, but he was very understanding to why we hadn't told anyone yet... waiting for the right time and enjoying not being asked millions of pregnancy questions everyday, lol. My sister was so excited to see my belly and she was even the first one to feel her kick! I cried the first few times I felt her move just thinking about the fact that it was suggested to abort her. This just confirmed my decision even more! We still didn't have the test results back and so it was difficult for us to talk about the baby... which luckily we didn't have to do much, since Bryce was constant entertainment and conversation!!
