We decided to start this blog after receiving a lethal diagnosis of Thanatophoric Dysplasia in our unborn Baby Leah. We searched the Internet for hours and hours each day to find any type of information that we could. Some of it was helpful and most of it scared us. The one thing we found that is helping us are blogs from other parents whose children had lethal anomalies. This helped us realize that other people have gone through this, to accept what is happening & to make the best of it, and to help us make the necessary decisions that are upcoming. We hope that by sharing our story, we can someday help another family know that they are not alone during this time of heartache & uncertainty.
I am going to have to back-track for a few posts to bring you up to speed with where we've been and then can keep you informed of how things are going.
We have both accepted that God has chosen us to walk this journey with Baby Leah. We're not sure why He chose us or what plan He has for us - but we have put our faith in God that He will guide us though this and that our Baby Leah will always be taken care of. We know that there is nothing that we or any doctor can do at this point - so we pray and we ask you to keep us in your prayers that we find the best information and make the best decisions for our family & Leah.

Jason and Kim, you have not idea how beautiful is to read this blog my prayers are for you and the baby, and i know that God, has a plan for each and one of us. and for the one that put in this life and he could not have chosen better family to be born than what you guys are. so I know for sure that whatever is his plan, you are in it. and that is a bless please be sure i will be there to support you guys always. congratulations. love you both. chico Nunez.
