It's crazy to us to think that we've already met and said good-bye to Leah 5 weeks ago! Today was her due date. We never really thought that she'd actually be born on this date, especially knowing that I was going to have another c-section with Baby #2 regardless. It just really puts things into perspective for us. How quick time really flies... I've already been on "maternity leave" for almost 6 weeks now and will be going back to work on Monday. Jason has been back to work for several weeks now. Our lives are beginning to take the shape of "normalcy." But things just don't seem the same anymore to us, even if they look normal. To us, a piece of our family will always be missing. We will always think about Leah for the rest of our lives. Things will continue to remind us of her. But regardless, we want to have good days and have everyone else have good days with us. If you see us smiling, cheerful, and happy... then please be smiling, cheerful, and happy with us:) If you want to ask us about Leah or how we're doing, please do! Sharing the short stories of her life, gives it foundation. From the beginning we wanted to celebrate Leah and everything that she has inspired in us and in others. We do get sad and cry. I've gotten mad a few times. But nothing will ever change the fact that things could've worked out wayyy differently. What if we had been convinced to not meet her? What if she had been born still? The fact is... Leah lived with us, though for a short time, and that is a very happy thing! And little by little... she is changing the world, one story at a time.

SO true my Friend, so true! All the stories that you have from such a little child, for so little of a time have changed all of us. Thank you for sharing them and Leah!
